About Me
I am a Ph.D. student majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. I am fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Yu Jiang in the CAIR Lab. Prior to joining Cornell, I earned my B.Eng degree in Agriculture Engineering from Zhejiang University (浙江大学), where I was supervised by Dr. Fei Liu at the iGE Lab for my thesis, and, Dr. Yanjun Cao and Dr. Fei Gao at the FAST Lab of Huzhou Institute of Zhejiang University for my research intern. My research focuses on Robotics, Autonomous Systems, AI, and High-throughput Phenotyping.

News
- 2025/09 — Two PPBv2 robots were successfully deployed in more than 15 vineyards across the Finger Lakes region from May through Oct 2025. The same imaging systems on them were also mounted on ATVs and deployed at Cornell AgriTech, UMN, SDSU, USDA-ARS (Parlier CA) and USDA-AFRS (Kearneysville WV). In each vineyard, the robots/imaging systems operated weekly in the field, collecting over 7TB of imagery data for downstream research. [news 1] [news 2] [news 3]
- 2025/07 — The PPB-NG prototype robot was deployed in the field at Cornell AgriTech to perform synchronized data collection with NASA JPL’s AVIRIS mission. [news 1] [news 2] [news 3] [news 4]
- 2025/04 — I passed my PhD Qualification Exam at Cornell ECE.
- 2024/08 — We hosted the NASA Acres leadership visiting group and demostrated our robots. [news]
- 2024/05 — Our paper, Effective integration of vision foundational models for semantic segmentation to quantify grape foliage powdery mildew infection, received the ITSC Best Paper Award at ASABE 2024 AIM. [news]
